Our Wedding Day Vendors: Reception Venue & Photographer

Our wedding day is quickly approaching! Before we know it, the date will be March 19th, 2022. For Brad and I, it is a long time coming. He proposed to me on Christmas Day, 2020, over a year ago! With 61 days to go, I cannot believe how quickly the time has gone, or how much we have accomplished in planning for this special day. From dresses to flowers to photographers to more, I am excited to share a few of the vendors we will be utilizing for our wedding. Are you ready? Let's begin with the venue!

Reception Venue for Wedding Day

We found our wedding venue very early on in our wedding planning process, - in February, I believe - something that I was very grateful for as it alleviated many of my personal worries and concerns as we moved forward with the planning process. After researching and considering a few venue ideas for the reception, we signed our contract with Wedgewood Weddings at a local golf course location. We were impressed by their beautiful indoor reception areas, and the convenient all-inclusive packages, which included catering, centerpieces & decor, table settings, coordinating, a DJ, and much more.

Photography and Videography

Finding a reliable and an affordable photographer and videographer was at the top of my wish list! So many people have told me that the wedding day itself goes by so fast, and before you know it, it's over. That said, it was really important to me to have a reliable photographer and videographer that would be able to capture all the special moments of the day so we would have them to look back on for the years to come. After some research, a friend of my fiance's recommended the photographer that photographed her and her husband's wedding. I quickly googled "Look for the Light: Photo Video", and I knew right away that they would be the perfect match for our day. I was worried whether or not they would be able to make the trip from Tennessee to the Bay Area in California, yet after a few messages and emails, we were able to sign our contract and book Celine Reese from "Look for the Light" for the big day. I cannot wait to share the photos and video moments that are captured with family and friends, as well as have them to look back on for the many years to come.

Blessings,

Morgan Elizabeth
